Module C: READING ALOUD UTILISING
THE ‘HIGH VOICE’ TECHNIQUE:
The aim of this workshop is to show how reading aloud with
proper articulation and pronunciation, through the formal working through
of texts, facilitates the pupil’s understanding of a text’s
meaning which in turn ignites a desire to discover and share their understanding
of literary works together.
Understanding
of a text’s meaning is facilitated through changing the meaning
of a text by altering the tonality, articulation and intonation of the
voice whilst reading.
By harnessing
meaning through different forms of expression, the understanding of
a text becomes easier to grasp.
Module D: CREATIVE WRITING ENJOYED:
This workshop’s main aim is to aid the intern’s
discovery of the benefits of creative writing and enjoyable literature,
whilst advising a less favourable outlook towards French literature
and poetry. There will therefore be work aids and exercises available
for use in the classroom to encourage, motivate and help students to
produce their own motivating poetry and literature.

writing under supervision (OULIPO)

on the vibrancy/resonance of poetic language use.
Creation
of literature both divergent and convergent (similar and diverse).
Module E : DRAMA TECHNIQUES IN
LANGUAGE LEARNING
Set up a
teaching approach that facilitates mastery of oral skills through drama
techniques.
Allow learners
to express themselves more easily using games.

When it comes to cultural activities, Paris has a lot to offer:
Two afternoons a week we will help you to organise your visits to help
you get the most out of the city: The Louvre, educational and cultural
outings, explore the various « quartiers » of Paris (Montmartre,
le Marais, Saint-Germain, etc.), cultural questionnaires on the daily
lives of Parisians, learn the history of the city with “Paris
story”, walks along the banks of the Seine, etc.
